Getting Here, What to Do & Where to Stay
✈️By Air
The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport, about 15 miles from the city centre, serving Leicester, Derby, and Nottingham. It offers direct flights to and from several European cities, including Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Rome, and Barcelona. From the airport, it takes around 30 minutes to reach Nottingham by car or bus. The Skylink bus service runs every 30 minutes between the airport and Nottingham city centre. A taxi journey typically costs between £35 and £40.
Birmingham International Airport is another convenient option, with excellent connections to destinations across Europe, Asia, and the United States. It is approximately one hour from Nottingham by taxi, or about 1 hour 30 minutes by train (with at least one change).
Manchester, Liverpool, and most London airports (including Heathrow, Stansted, and London City) are roughly two hours away. Gatwick Airport is located south of London and more than three hours from Nottingham.

Nottingham Train Station is the mainline station located in the city centre. Direct trains from London St Pancras International run hourly every day, with services also available from many other UK cities. The train station is less than a 15-minute walk from the course venue. Nottingham has an extensive public transport network, with over 300 buses and two tram lines operating seven days a week. Tickets can be paid for using a smartphone or contactless card. You can also download the NCTX Buses app to plan journeys and purchase tickets.
